Court’s Chief Secretary discharged

Right after Top Channel’s investigative program “Fiks Fare” broadcasted the corruptive affairs in the judiciary, the Minister of Justice discharged two of the Court staff that appear on hidden camera counting money. They are Meliha Kuka, chief secretary of the court, and Liljana Shkjau. 

Minister Naco invited the Albanian citizens to join in the fight against corruption at any level.

The Tirana Prosecution declared that the investigations are ongoing for this scandal, over power abuse and illegal influencing. Besides the video, which has been seized by the task-force, sources say that other important procedures have also been held, since the court has decided in previous cases that the video is not enough for the evidence.

Earlier the day, the General Prosecutor has discharged the Puka Prosecutor and a judiciary policej officer.
